Microsoft and ZhiChiWangLuo (咫尺网络) hold an H5 Advertising Competition at the end of 2015. The Concept of this competition is to mining the most potential marketing creative thinking through H5 micro scene with the sense of design and to better serve businesses and brand promotion.
Once I saw this competition I thought isn’t this what I’m good at? I should do it.
In this Competition, designers should make an H5 Advertise to propagate Microsoft’s Office Service Office 365. Designers have to convert their thoughts into pictures and then use H5 making tool provided by the competition holder Zhichiwangluo to output their final shareable works on social medias.
After browsing lots of flat-design-style materials which provided by Microsoft and other designers’ similar H5 works, I decide to make something different and fun.
In the Official Office website I found what I want, combine the Mobility, Safety, Productivity and Business-Intelligence this four selling points together, I came up an idea to use the concept of Chinese Martial Art to convey this four parts to consumers.
Because of the inconvenient and not fully functional of the H5 tool, I got some trouble and unsatisfied during the tweaking part. And in my own opinion, this H5 still not good enough for me. But in the end, thanks to the judges from Microsoft who appreciated my work, I still got the 1st Prize.
